Asphalt Driveway Tips:

New Installation

We offer new asphalt installations. We pave driveways, parking lots, private roads etc. We start by excavating the site by digging out the old material and installing state spec crushed gravel. We then compact the gravel. The asphalt is installed in two layers. Base and top each layer is an average thickness of 1.5" inches for a total of 3" inches when the job is completed. 3" inches is the standard thickness, but we will put down whatever is wanted by the customer.

Resurfacing/Overlays

Resurfacing existing asphalt can last a long time if done properly.  We take the time needed to make sure this happens.  We start by cleaning and removing all debrish, shim/patch any low spots, apply a tack coat adhesive  and overlay the existing area with a top coat of approximately 1 1/2 inches asphalt.

Excavating

We do all of our own excavating. If the driveway is not properly excavted the driveway will not last as long as it should.
